May 28, 2000 Its Sunday I woke up about five or so. We went to breakfast at seven. They had so much food to eat it was a buffet. They had scrambled eggs, french fries, green beans, cheeses, breads, five different kinds of juices, all different kinds of fruit, sausages, and canadian bacon. Then after breakfast we took the Tokyo morning tour. We went to the Tokyo Tower. It took one minute to get up in a elevator. When your up there you can see buildings for miles. Then we went to the Imperial Palace Plaza. The Imperial Palace you can only see twice a year, January 2 and December 22. Then after that we drove through Akihabara and Ueno. Akihabara is a wholesale district for electric appliances and computers. And Ueno is a discount-shopping district. Then we went to the Asakusa Kannon Temple. Which is the oldest and most popular temple in Tokyo. Then we wet down the Nakamise Shopping Street. Which is a narrow, paved entranceway to the Asakusa Kannon Temple both sides of which are crammed with tiny food and souvenir shops. Then we drove trough the Ginza Shopping District. Which is the most celebrated shopping and amusement area. After are tour we took the subway to Asakusa, and took the Sumida River Line. Which cruses below twelve unique bridges through Tokyo old downtown areas. We went under: Azuma Bridge, Komagate Bridge, Umaya Bridge, Kuramae Bridge, JR Soubu line, Ryogoku Bridge, Shinohashi Bridge, Kiyosu Bridge, Sumidagawa ohashi Bridge, Eital Bridge, Chuo-ohashi Bridge, Tsukuda-ohashi Bridge, Kachidoki Bridge, and we saw the Rainbow Bridge. Then after that we took the subway to Ueno. Which is a big shopping place. While we were in Ueno we stopped at a coffee shop and I got a blue soda. After that we took the subway back to the hotel, and went to dinner across the street. My parents went to bed at eight as soon as they got back. I managed to stay up until nine.
